This full-time role focuses on serving students in middle or high school (grades 6–8 or 10–12), working in the southwest Houston area. Whether you’re experienced or a clinical fellow (CFY), your expertise will be valued in this dynamic setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Active TX SLP license (upload license image with application)
- Open to both experienced SLPs and highly motivated Clinical Fellows (CFYs)
- Completed or willing to complete fingerprinting for district requirements
- Passion for making a difference with adolescent populations, grades 6–8 and/or 10–12
- Strong commitment to collaboration, communication, and integrity
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive SLP services including direct therapy, ARD (Admission, Review, Dismissal) participation, and evaluations
- Option available to focus on supervision duties if preferred
- Manage an assigned caseload of approximately 50–60 students in either middle school or high school, as aligned with your preference and experience
- Collaborate with educators and support teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with required documentation and district protocols
- Participate in school-based meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive educational environment
- Respond promptly to prescreen interviews and onboarding requests for timely placement
