Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Virginia SLP License (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Familiarity with school-based speech therapy caseloads
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work onsite for the duration of the contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and maintain compliance with all regulations
- Stay current on best practices and professional development within the field
