Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Virginia
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and collaborative skills
- Ability to support a full caseload and adapt to school dynamics
- Commitment to providing direct, onsite services (virtual solutions not available for this assignment)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech-language therapy to students based on individual education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to guide therapy
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and district policies
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and team consultations
- Foster a positive, inclusive school environment that supports communication and academic growth
