School Speech Language Pathologist - Stowe, Vermont

This full-time, contract opportunity offers professional growth in a supportive school setting, where your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist will help students reach their communication goals.
Your assignment will run from August 26, 2026, through June 7, 2027, with a guaranteed 40-hour work week and a manageable, elementary-only caseload. You’ll deliver both direct and indirect services—and can focus solely on speech-related responsibilities, with no bus duty, parent pickup, or other school obligations outside your contracted hours. If relocating, travel therapists may be eligible for stipends.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- Certification as an SLP (CCC or CFY considered)
- Experience in educational or school-based settings preferred
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability
- Current state licensure or eligibility
In this role, you’ll:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with school guidelines
- Track student progress and maintain detailed documentation
- Consult with staff and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and team collaboration during contracted hours
