Qualifications:
- Current Speech Language Pathologist license in Vermont
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in school settings preferred, but candidates with strong pediatric or teletherapy backgrounds are also welcome
- Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with students, families, and educators
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students across K-12 settings, utilizing evidence-based practices
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct age-appropriate assessments to identify students’ communication needs and track progress
- Provide teletherapy services as needed, ensuring engaging and effective remote sessions
- Support students’ social and academic development through targeted speech and language therapy interventions
- Communicate progress and strategies with parents, teachers, and other school personnel
