Key Qualifications:
- Active VT Speech Language Pathologist license
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience working in a school setting is valued, though not required
- Capability to provide pediatric SLP services and deliver therapy via teletherapy platforms
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored speech and language therapy to students, both in-person and through virtual therapy
- Conduct student assessments and develop individualized plans to address communication challenges
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with educational standards
- Consult and communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and related service providers
- Foster positive relationships to ensure student engagement and progress
- Participate in student evaluations, IEP meetings, and contribute to educational planning
