Key Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLP license required
- Experience delivering both in-person and virtual speech therapy in school settings is desirable
- Ability to manage diverse student caseloads with varying needs
- Excellent organization, communication, and documentation skills
- Must initiate a background check with the VA Department of Social Services promptly
- TB test required for credentialing before the start date
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments and therapy to students as assigned by the district
- Travel to one or more school sites in-person three days weekly, providing direct support to students
- Conduct virtual therapy sessions, attend meetings, and complete documentation from home two days weekly
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation of therapy activities
- Adapt to changing caseloads or school assignments as needed throughout the academic year
