Elementary School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Springville, New York
Step into an impactful role supporting elementary-aged learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic school setting, providing services to a diverse caseload of approximately 25–40 students, with varying levels of disability. Starting July 1st and extending through June 25th, you’ll be engaged full-time with 35 hours each week at a welcoming elementary campus.
Key Qualifications:
- Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY designation preferred
- Experience in elementary school settings is beneficial
- Familiarity with a range of student needs, from mild to severe disabilities
- Strong evaluation, diagnostics, and service delivery skills
- Collaborative spirit for interdisciplinary teamwork
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations to determine speech and language needs
- Deliver targeted speech-language therapy per IEP goals
- Maintain clear, detailed records compliant with district and state guidelines
- Provide consultation and support for teachers and families
- Track student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and team collaborations
