Elementary Speech Therapist in Yorkshire, NY
Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary school students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist starting this July and extending through the end of June. Preferred Background & Credentials:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility
- Hold or pursuing CCC-SLP or CFY-SLP credentials
- Prior experience with elementary-aged children in school settings is highly valued
- Adaptable and committed to serving students with diverse needs and abilities
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and deliver speech-language services for elementary students
- Develop, implement, and track individualized plans and goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families for student progress
- Maintain compliance with state and district-led assessments, reporting, and IEP processes
