We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive school district in Buckeye, Arizona for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with either a Preschool population or a K-8 Developmental Program, helping students develop the skills they need to thrive both academically and functionally.
Position Details
- Full-Time: 40 hours per week
- Start Date: August 3, 2026
- End Date: May 31, 2027
- Setting: Onsite
- Student Population: Preschool or K-8 Developmental Program
- Caseload: Approximately 60 students
- Support: Supervision of a dedicated COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant)
Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with varying needs.
- Supervise and collaborate with a COTA to ensure quality service delivery.
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records.
- Participate in IEP meetings and student planning sessions.
Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license required.
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
- Previous school-based experience preferred.
