Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Springfield, MA

This contract opportunity is located onsite and offers a chance to work closely with a diverse caseload—primarily PreK to 6th grade—within a collaborative and supportive school setting. The position starts as soon as possible and extends through June 11, following the academic calendar.
Ideal candidates will have a strong background in pediatric and school-based speech language pathology and be passionate about advocating for student success.
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly valued
- Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with IEPs
- Effective communicator with students, families, and educational teams
- Adaptable and solution-focused mindset
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for K-12 students, with primary focus on PreK-6th grades
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support language, articulation, and social communication growth
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation for compliance and progress tracking
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for educational planning
