Key Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Texas (SLP-CCC preferred)
- Previous experience with pediatric or school-based populations
- Strong background in conducting speech-language evaluations
- Ability to provide direct supervision to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Familiarity with ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings and documentation processes
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and mentor SLPAs to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Complete comprehensive speech-language assessments for students at assigned campuses
- Lead and facilitate ARD meetings as a core member of the multidisciplinary team
- Coordinate with teachers and staff to support student needs—no therapy is required
- Maintain meticulous evaluation and supervision records in compliance with district and state standards
