Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas SLP license (CCC required)
- Experience in school-based settings with elementary and primary populations
- Proficiency in supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Strong background in administering comprehensive speech-language evaluations
- Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Commitment to facilitating ARD meetings and engaging in collaborative IEP processes
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite supervision and clinical support for SLPAs at assigned primary and elementary locations
- Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations for referred students
- Lead and participate actively in ARD meetings, ensuring clear communication of assessment findings and recommendations
- Maintain accurate, timely records and case management documentation aligned with school policies and compliance standards
- Serve as a consultative resource to educators, administrators, and caregivers regarding speech-language concerns
- Work within a multidisciplinary team environment focused on student success and inclusion
- Please note: Direct therapy service provision is not included in this role
This contract offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week within a supportive school environment. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact through advocacy, assessment, and clinical guidance.
