Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a school setting, working with young children
- Ability to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented in completing speech-language evaluations and documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise SLPAs and guide their clinical activities
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students at assigned campuses
- Lead Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to develop and update student service plans
- Collaborate closely with educators and administrators to ensure students’ needs are met
- Maintain accurate assessment and supervision records
- Onsite presence required; remote options are not available
- No direct therapy duties included
