Two dedicated professionals are needed for immediate assignments providing essential speech-language services while the district conducts its internal hiring process. Assignment Details:
- Contracted, full-time roles (Monday through Friday, hours to be determined)
- Positions will remain until permanent staff are hired
- Immediate start available
Two unique caseloads are available:
- Elementary school assignment focused on supporting ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) students
- High school assignment working with students who have intellectual disabilities
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility in New York)
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Passion for empowering children with communication challenges
- Ability to adapt services to meet a diverse range of student needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
Your key responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Design and implement targeted intervention plans
- Track student progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide support and resources to staff and families
