Speech and Language Pathologist - Rochester, NY
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students during the summer Extended School Year (ESY) session as a part-time onsite Speech-Language Pathologist. In this engaging role, you’ll collaborate with a diverse group of learners ages Kindergarten through 22, helping them achieve communication goals and find success in their educational journey.
This contract position runs from July 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026, offering 14 hours each week on Mondays and Fridays. With a consistent schedule, you’ll maintain work-life balance while making a meaningful difference.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- New York SLP license (must be attached with resume to be considered)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for working with diverse learners (K-22)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to assigned students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Assess, document, and report on student progress
- Participate in meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
- Maintain compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations
