Pediatric School-Based SLP | New York, New York

A professional Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is needed for a contract position in New York, NY, supporting an Extended School Year (ESY) program. This role focuses exclusively on providing therapy services within a school setting for pediatric students.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students during the ESY program.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support students’ communication development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes aligned with program guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student needs and progress.
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in school-based settings and with pediatric populations.
- Strong expertise in speech-language assessment and therapy techniques.
- Ability to work independently within a contracted, short-term program.
Schedule and Location:
- Contract position based in New York, NY.
- ESY program runs for 6 weeks, from July 6 to August 14.
- Therapy hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
