Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent field
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Prior experience in pediatric or school-based SLP settings
- Understanding of diverse communication needs across childhood and adolescence
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills with students, families, and staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students, adhering to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluate communication disorders within a pediatric school population
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other related service providers for holistic student support
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide insightful progress reports to families and educational teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
