Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for South Carolina
- Proven experience providing SLP services in schools
- Skill in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy to students across varying age groups and needs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to support accurate diagnoses and goal setting
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members on student progress and strategies
- Document services and maintain records in compliance with district and legal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development as required
- Adapt therapy approaches for both in-person and virtual (VOCO) delivery formats
