Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Rains, SC

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring compliance with all state and federal mandates
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students individually and in small groups
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, administrators, and members of the special education team to ensure student progress
- Take part in eligibility determinations, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active South Carolina SLP License or eligibility to obtain one
- South Carolina Department of Education certification, or eligibility to secure certification
- Thorough understanding of special education laws and the IEP process (IDEA)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative abilities
