Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license for the state of Maine
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting or with preschool-aged children preferred
- Strong collaboration skills and willingness to partner with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Commitment to delivering services in accordance with IEPs and state guidelines
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication therapy to preschool students on your caseload
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
- Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and professionals to foster an optimal learning environment
- Maintain accurate records and ongoing progress notes
- Participate actively in eligibility, evaluation, and IEP meetings
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive early childhood program and support classroom-based interventions
- Deliver both direct and consultative services in alignment with school standards and protocols
