Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license (ME or eligible for reciprocity)
- Master’s degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in a school setting highly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective, individualized IEP-based therapy plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Develop and implement IEPs and monitor student progress
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Offer support and guidance to staff and families on speech and language issues
