School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Augusta, Maine

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain by assignment start date)
- Recent school-based SLP experience preferred, but open to strong clinical backgrounds
- Ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Familiarity with IEP development and participation in student meetings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to collaborative work with educators, families, and other staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform speech and language screenings, evaluations, and therapy for students with varying needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, aligning therapy goals with educational outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes complying with school and state requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to deliver effective interventions
- Provide direct and consultative services as designated by IEPs
