Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license valid in Maine
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience providing SLP services in a school setting, especially at the preschool level, is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate with parents, educators, and support staff
- Skilled at implementing individualized education programs and adapting therapeutic techniques for diverse learning needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to preschool-aged students, fostering their growth in articulation, language, voice, and fluency
- Evaluate and monitor student progress, conducting assessments and developing effective treatment plans
- Work as a valued partner with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic student development
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and timely progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
