Key Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure to practice as a speech-language pathologist
- ASHA certification or Clinical Fellowship (CF or CCC’s) required
- Prior experience with pediatric or school-based populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and colleagues
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and track student progress effectively
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with school and district guidelines
- Educate and mentor staff on strategies to foster communication development
- Engage in ongoing professional development and remain current on best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
