Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license; eligibility for Vermont credentialing preferred
- Experience providing assessments and interventions for pediatric populations
- Prior work in school-based or similar settings desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and conduct relevant documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnostics for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support academic and functional communication goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Track student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Provide guidance and resources to school staff and parents
- Maintain thorough records ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
