Desired Qualifications:
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Current New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) certification
- Experience supporting PreK–12 students, including those with complex communication needs
- Comfortable with low-tech AAC device implementation
- Availability for a flexible start to overlap and shadow the outgoing SLP
- School-based SLP experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 40 students (PreK–12th grade)
- Provide interventions for students with a range of needs, including nonverbal learners
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to create communication-rich environments
- Utilize low-tech AAC devices effectively
- Maintain up-to-date documentation in alignment with school standards
