School Speech Language Pathologist - Sonoma, CA

This contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) who is ready to make a real impact in school-based services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology required
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings is highly desirable
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention planning skills
- Excellent communication abilities and a passion for engaging with students, teachers, and families
- Comfortable with both in-person and virtual service delivery, as needed
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students, aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in groups
- Support students’ academic progress by collaborating with educators and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
- Serve as a valuable resource for staff and parents, offering guidance and support on communication disorders
