Speech Language Pathologist in Snow Hill, MD
A new opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make a real impact for the 2026-2027 school year. This on-site contract role offers the chance to work across multiple school locations within a supportive educational community. With openings spanning K-12, you'll have flexibility in age groups and the ability to collaborate with a dynamic network of educators and professionals.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold current MD Speech-Language Pathology License (SLP-CCC required)
- Possess Maryland Teaching Certificate
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Ability to work and travel to various school locations as required
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Commitment to working onsite (remote/virtual roles are not available)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students in K-12
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement effective intervention strategies
- Provide direct therapy services and consultation within classroom settings and resource rooms
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports in compliance with state and district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team evaluations as needed
