Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Demonstrated experience as an SLP in school-based settings
- Comfortable providing services to a diverse student population, including early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school students as well as infants and toddlers
- Strong collaboration skills and adaptability to manage itinerant assignments
- Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice in speech-language pathology
- CSY and SLPA certifications are not accepted for this position
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services onsite for students with a range of communication needs
- Serve as an itinerant clinician, traveling among assigned schools depending on the day’s requirements
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct evaluations, monitor progress, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development as needed
In this role, you’ll have the chance to broaden your expertise working with all age groups. The weekly commitment is 37.5 hours, with elementary hours from 8:30 AM to 3:50 PM and secondary hours from 7:20 AM to 2:40 PM, varying based on assignment.
