School Speech Language Pathologist - Middle River, Maryland
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist, providing essential services to students across multiple educational environments. Your expertise will support learning and communication development in a dynamic, supportive setting.
In this position, you'll be scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, with assignments that vary across five schools (three elementary, one middle, and one high school) as well as with infants and toddlers. Flexibility is key, as daily hours will align with each site's schedule—elementary buildings operate from 8:30 AM to 3:50 PM, while secondary buildings run from 7:20 AM to 2:40 PM.
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Experience working in school-based settings
• Ability to travel between locations as needed
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Will not accept candidates with CSY or SLPA credentials
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services across designated schools
• Assess students, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student outcomes
• Adapt therapy to diverse student needs, ranging from infants to high school learners
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and professional standards
• Travel between assigned sites as required
