Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Annapolis, MD
Step into a rewarding role as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students' communication growth across multiple schools. This contract opportunity is based onsite near Annapolis, MD, providing hands-on experience with learners ranging from infants and toddlers to high school students. You'll engage in direct collaboration with educational teams at three elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, and an infant and toddler program, ensuring comprehensive service delivery where it's needed most.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Current state licensure appropriate for school-based practice
- Experience in school settings with diverse student populations
- Ability to travel between multiple school locations as needed
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Will not consider Clinical Fellowship Year candidates or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services
- Work flexible hours within the range of 7:20 AM–3:50 PM, depending on assignment (elementary or secondary schedules)
- Serve as an integral itinerant team member across multiple campuses, adjusting to daily needs
