School Speech Language Pathologist - Rock Hall, Maryland

In this dynamic opportunity, you’ll serve as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students across multiple schools, including three elementary sites, one middle, and one high school. This contract, onsite position is designed for a passionate SLP who thrives in an educational setting and is motivated to help students reach their fullest communicative potential. With a standard full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, you’ll enjoy a consistent, school-based routine while collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong background in school-based SLP services
- Experience working with diverse student populations across elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload
- Must be able to work onsite—this is not a teletherapy or remote assignment
- CSY or SLPA credentials will not be accepted for this role
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose communication disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct speech-language therapy in group and individual settings
- Collaborate and consult with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students’ IEP goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
- Travel between assigned schools as needed to serve students across the caseload
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices
