This contract, onsite opportunity offers the chance to serve a diverse caseload, delivering specialized services to children across all grade levels, including infants and toddlers. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated educational community and enjoy a dynamic schedule working across five schools — three elementary, one middle, and one high school.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current CCC-SLP certification
- Experience providing school-based SLP services preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and adaptability
- Ability to work across multiple sites and travel between schools as needed
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland
- Candidates with CSY or SLPA credentials will not be considered for this role
Your Role:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students of varying ages
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with education teams and families
- Deliver direct therapy services both individually and in small groups
- Monitor student progress and maintain meticulous, accurate records
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers
- Adapt strategies to meet each learner’s unique needs, supporting both academic and functional communication growth
- Flex work hours based on rotating assignments: elementary (8:30–3:50) and secondary (7:20–2:40)
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based problem solving
