Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program (for SLP).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required for SLP.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Experience working in K-12 public or private school settings is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and collaborate effectively with school personnel and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, aligned with IEP goals.
- Maintain regular and accurate session documentation.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development.
- Educate and support teachers and caregivers to reinforce communication goals in classroom settings.
