Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- SLP-CCC certification (ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence)
- Active state licensure as an SLP
- Experience providing SLP services within school settings is highly valued
- Comfortable working with and supervising an SLPA
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Work in collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create inclusive learning strategies
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and supervision to an assigned SLPA
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations
