Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP-CCC or SLPA certification
- Experience working with school-aged children (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Capacity to collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to adapt therapy plans based on student progress and diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy sessions for students
- Document and monitor student progress, updating records as necessary
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP goal-setting
- Provide consultation and support to classroom teachers on strategies that facilitate communication
