Successful applicants will possess:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- California teaching credential (CTC) required
- Previous experience providing SLP services in California schools
- Solid understanding of the IEP process and documentation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Dedication to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a student-centered approach
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting individual and group therapy sessions for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
- Participating in eligibility and IEP meetings, collaborating closely with educators and families
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and regular progress monitoring
- Maintaining thorough and timely documentation in line with all district and state requirements
- Delivering services exclusively onsite (no telepractice or SLPA supervision at this time)
