Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license for Florida
  • CCC-SLP credentials (Clinical Fellowships welcomed; supervision provided)
  • Strong background in school-based SLP practice
  • Experience with severe-profound student populations and AAC
  • Commitment to in-person services (no virtual roles)
  • SLPAs are not eligible

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy in assigned school(s) within Volusia County
  • Serve on short- or full-term placements including maternity leaves and semester assignments
  • Manage a varied caseload (elementary, middle, or high school students)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams and families
  • Complete assessments, develop IEPs, and provide required documentation
