Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in schools, ideally with both autism spectrum and general education populations
- Ability to create and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators and families
- Previous supervision of SLPA preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy tailored to individual needs
- Oversee, mentor, and supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and staff in developing strategies for classroom success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student growth
