We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an onsite school-based opportunity in Shreveport, Louisiana. This position offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours while providing valuable speech and language services to students in a supportive educational environment.
Position Details 📋
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Full-time or Part-time
- Hours: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (based on school placement)
- Setting: Onsite school-based
- Caseload: Approximately 60 students (varies based on service minutes and school setting)
Key Responsibilities ✅
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct speech-language services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development
Qualifications 🎓
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Louisiana SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA CCCs preferred
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
