Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Sherwood, AR

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist at a supportive school environment near Sherwood, AR. Spend the school year making a meaningful impact with students across all grade levels, from kindergarten through 12th grade. This full-time position is set to begin in August and continues through the entire academic year, offering you the chance to work during regular school hours—typically starting between 7:30 and 8:00 AM and finishing between 3:30 and 4:00 PM.
You’ll enjoy a dynamic caseload working with diverse age groups and collaborating with an SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) who will join you in providing services. Applicants with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are welcome, and this school also supports SLPs in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure as an SLP or eligibility for licensure in Arkansas
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or teletherapy settings is highly valued
- Open to SLPs with their CCC or those in their CFY year
- Previous experience with K-12 populations preferred
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Collaborate on IEP development and implementation
- Perform evaluations, progress monitoring, and data-driven adjustments
- Participate in team meetings and support overall student progress
- Supervise and partner with an SLPA for service delivery
