Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Little Rock, Arkansas
Step into an impactful role serving students across all grade levels, from kindergarten through high school, as a Speech-Language Pathology professional in vibrant central Arkansas. This contract opportunity begins in August and extends throughout the entire academic year, providing a rewarding chance to make a difference in the lives of K-12 students.
Your day will begin between 7:30 and 8:00am, with a supportive schedule that wraps up by 3:30–4:00pm. Whether you are a seasoned SLP-CCC, a strong Clinical Fellow (CFY), or a passionate SLPA, your expertise and dedication will shine as you help students reach their communication goals. You’ll also enjoy valuable assistance from a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) so you can focus on what you do best.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP or SLPA license
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Teletherapy or healthcare SLP background a plus
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Comfortable working with K-12 ages and diverse needs
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students, addressing a range of needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and services
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Supervise and mentor SLPA(s) as assigned
