Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Little Rock, Arkansas

Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students of all ages as a Speech-Language Pathologist this coming school year. This full-time opportunity begins in August and continues throughout the academic calendar, working directly with students in grades K-12. You’ll serve as a vital part of a driven team, with the benefit of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support your efforts. This position is also open to clinical fellows ready to begin their professional journey in a welcoming, collaborative environment.
Hours are regular, with your workday starting between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. and concluding by 3:30 to 4:00 p.m., allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful impact on young learners.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state licensure and credentials (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow; open to strong CFYs)
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric, school-aged populations (K-12)
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms a plus
- Background in either school-based or healthcare SLP settings is valued
- Willingness to supervise and collaborate with an SLPA
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Conduct assessments and track progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in school meetings and trainings
- Leverage technology for virtual therapy sessions as needed
