Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFs considered
- Experience in a K-12 school setting is highly desirable
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in groups
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to maximize outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and staff development sessions
- Educate school staff and parents regarding speech and language strategies
