Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Jacksonville, Arkansas

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential therapy services to students of all ages, from kindergarten through 12th grade. This full-time, contract position runs for the entire school year, beginning in August, offering you the chance to guide student progress from day one to year’s end.
The work schedule is structured, with start times between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. and afternoons wrapping up between 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. An experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will be assigned to support you, ensuring comprehensive care for the caseload. Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply—this is a supportive environment for advancing your skills and gaining supervised experience.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active Arkansas SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged
- Experience with schools or pediatric populations valued
- Comfortable working across grades K-12
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms a bonus
- Team-oriented with strong communication and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders in students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state/federal guidelines
- Provide guidance and oversight to the assigned SLPA
