Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Jacksonville, AR
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students throughout the entire academic year as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Arkansas. You’ll work with students across all grade levels, providing expert speech and language services tailored to each child’s needs. Whether you are an SLP with your CCC, gaining valuable experience as a Clinical Fellow (CFY), or interested in supporting SLPA development, there’s room to grow your expertise in both traditional and teletherapy models.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Arkansas SLP license (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) welcomed, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are also encouraged
- Experience with pediatric populations and diverse communication needs
- Comfortable working with both in-person and teletherapy settings
- Previous school-based or healthcare experience is a plus
- Willingness to collaborate with and mentor SLPA staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Serve all grade levels, K-12, tailoring interventions to student goals
- Partner with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams for holistic support
- Supervise and collaborate with SLPA staff as assigned
- Maintain accurate documentation and meet IEP requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student progress
Schedule: Start between 7:30–8:00 AM; finish by 3:30–4:00 PM.
