Speech and Language Pathologist in Little Rock, AR
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students throughout the school year. Located in the vibrant Little Rock, AR area, this full-time role begins in August and invites dynamic professionals ready to make an impact from the start of the academic year through its conclusion. You’ll have the chance to work with a diverse caseload, ranging from kindergarten to high school seniors, crafting meaningful progress for each student you serve.
Your day will start between 7:30am and 8:00am, wrapping up between 3:30pm and 4:00pm, supporting a healthy work-life balance. Clinical fellows are encouraged to apply, and support from a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will be provided to enhance effective service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an SLP license in Arkansas (or eligibility for licensure)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but CFY candidates are welcomed
- Experience or openness to working with K-12 populations in school settings
- Comfortable providing teletherapy, in-person, or hybrid services
- Background in healthcare-based or educational SLP settings is beneficial
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy
- Address a variety of speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough documentation
- Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed
- Supervise and provide guidance to the assigned SLPA
