Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Sebastopol, CA

A contract opportunity is available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs–CCC or CFY) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) seeking a meaningful position working with elementary and middle school students.
This assignment will cover a leave from November 2, 2026, through February 26, 2027. The role consists of approximately 0.8 FTE at an elementary school and 0.2 FTE at a middle school. You’ll engage with students, staff, and caregivers to facilitate growth in communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC, CFY) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary and/or middle school populations
- Familiarity with school-based speech and language services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and provide direct therapy for students with a variety of communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff regarding strategies and accommodations
- Develop and implement IEP goals and document student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning
- Adapt approaches based on student development and response to treatment
- Support a positive, inclusive educational environment
