Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent required
- Valid state SLPA licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication skills for engaging with students, teachers, and parents
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to a varied caseload
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
- Provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Assist in documenting student progress and preparing therapy materials
- Support generalization of speech and language skills across classroom settings
- Monitor and report student performance to SLPs and school staff
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress discussions
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school or district policies
