School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Sunnyvale, CA

Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid SLPA licensure (California)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Solid understanding of speech-language therapy techniques
- Ability to implement therapy plans under the supervision of an SLP
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families
- Organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy activities as designed by supervising SLPs, adapting to individual student needs
- Assist in conducting screenings and assessments to support the SLP’s evaluations
- Provide both individual and small group interventions in accordance with students’ therapy plans
- Document students’ progress, collect data, and contribute insights for IEP meetings
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support student goals
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with school protocols and ethical standards
