Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license or certification, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong skills in assessment, therapy planning, and implementation for students with diverse communication needs
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy sessions in accordance with each student’s IEP
- Maintain timely documentation, progress reports, and records in compliance with regulatory and district guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and student review sessions, contributing your expertise effectively
- Advocate for best practices in speech and language development within the school community
