Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- School-based experience or a strong desire to work in educational settings
- Strong assessment, intervention, and progress-monitoring abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Adaptable and able to manage diverse caseloads across multiple grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Deliver direct therapy individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other professionals to support student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide consultative services as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and interventions
