Key qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible California state licensure or credential to practice as an SLP (SLP-CCC welcome, as well as eligible CFYs)
- Experience or strong interest in working within school-based pediatric settings
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families effectively
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Primary responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for elementary-aged students
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy into the classroom environment
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and collaborative planning
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, families, and school personnel
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with district and state standards
